Due to its high-pitch count, it is also hydrophobic (water-repellent). The R8 Precision Braiding and fibre technology provide superior strength, roundness and line consistency. By adding GORE® Performance Fibres, we improve abrasion resistance, increase casting length/accuracy and reduce line vibration. HMPE fibres provide the high strength and sensitivity, hydrophobic water-repellent protection and a small diameter. All of this makes Sufix 832 Advanced Superline® 30x more abrasion-resistant than other braids. This line is great for casting, trolling and jigging, when high abrasion-resistance is needed.
